If you're new around here, welcome! I'm a menstrual health expert and hormone ND. I have helped thousands of women welcome in healthy periods and balanced hormones with my program Period Reboot! Be sure to hop on the waiting list so you're notified the next time the doors open!

My favorite daily drink for health! 🍹

What in the world IS an adrenal cocktail?! Well, it’s a beautiful balanced drink full of whole food vitamin c, potassium, sodium and electrolytes. By drinking this, we can replenish our system on deep levels.

Sodium and potassium in balance are required for proper adrenal function. Stress also tends to cause our bodies to lose sodium and it can become a vicious cycle. Vitamin c is super important for our adrenals during times of stress especially and may support resiliency. Vitamin c also contains copper which is ESSENTIAL for many things, among them supporting healthy iron levels!

It’s also… delicious! 😋 And an easy way to replenish your body

All you need for this recipe version is orange juice (fresh or unpasteurized is best), coconut water and a quality salt like Redmond Real salt.

In Period Reboot, most of my students enjoy this daily around lunch time but it is just a drink - NOT a meal replacement!! I enjoy this after a balanced meal 😍

Keeping an eye on blood sugar levels? I recommend adding in collagen powder or high quality protein to support balanced blood sugar!

Want to mix it up?? Try these variations!

  • Orange juice + cream of tartar + salt (the original recipe)
  • Coconut water + squeeze of lime or lemon + salt
  • Coconut water + pineapple juice + salt
  • Coconut water + grapefruit juice + salt
  • Orange juice + raw milk/cream/coconut cream + salt (creamsicle recipe)
  • Orange juice + splash of coconut water + sparkling mineral water + salt (mimosa recipe)

It’s ideal to consume our nutrients in whole food form but sometimes supplementation is incredibly helpful. My favorite supplements can be found via Fullscript - the supplement dispensary I use. You also get 15% off just because 💃

Will this one thing heal your hormones? Probably not alone! But alongside nourishing foods, metabolically supportive meals, mineral balance and a root cause based approach, we can transform our health (that’s what Period Reboot is allllll about!)

If you suspect excess estrogen (or any hormone imbalances) doing the DUTCH test is a comprehensive way to gather the data and a test I utilize often with my clients.

If your hormones feel off, they probably are! So don't brush it off and assume everything is "normal" when you feel anything but. xx
